actually, I'd think this would stack up pretty well as far as replayability because of all the skills and class combos.

don't remember ever replaying a game, though, so it doesn't much matter to me, personally.

Im am 35 and only started playing bcos a few of my also 30 sumthin mates roped me into playing, and now i love it...i only play pve , i have been turned off pvp mainly from reading the horror stories bout the crap attitudes that pvp'ers seem to have, tho since observer mode i have watched a few gvg games n they look kinda fun..

Alas the guys who roped me into playing had already been playing a few mths b4 i began and now nealry all of them hardly ever play anymore and i miss questing and such with them so............if there are any guilds out there who play for fun n dont take themselves too seriously how bout a invite

I'm old..... and I enjoy PvE, so much so that abhor that people find ways to exploit the snot out of it just so they can rush through thier 20th character for the sake of PvP.

I'm 33 and ALL I play is PVE.. and the rest of my guild does as well (be it we only have 3 people, but still all the same age range, and we do it PVE)

I am older than 13 and I play PvE more than PvP... I tend to do that because IWAY groups don't typically use health draining mesmers, and I hate pick-up groups in PvP, because good ones are hard to come by. Plus, PvE is an easy way to unlock skills for PvP. I don't see why people have trouble playing both quite honestly.

Well, to the OP, tell me for him stop looking at the minority of complainers/elitists who shun others/whatever small group he's pushing against, and look at the others. There's a wide world out there.

Even the adolescents can be mature, you know. I'm 14, and count the ones above me, too. They act well enough, don't they?

How is this thread still going? It's not like a silly assertion like that deserves five pages... After all, the statement "only thirteen year olds play PvE" is completely and utterly falsifiable. Let's break it down:

I play PvE. Now, according to the above statement, I must be thirteen years old. I am not thirteen years old. Therefore the above statement is incorrect. poof! That's a little thing I call logic.

The OP's guild leader was clearly an asshole and he should definately get out of that guild RIGHT NOW.

I agree it's kinda stupid...... 13 years or not who cares anyways, it's a matter of maturity. If everyone who plays is over 30, and they act like children then there is no difference. There is just as many old people who act like jerks as 13 year olds.

This topic pops up every few days - everyone has to have their own 150 post long "PvE vs PvP" thread. Just seems to me like this one is the most pointless of them all :P

Well.. I'm not 13, and I pve. I started out doing pve with my ele/necro, then started pvp and found out eles are worse (in my opinion) than other classes in comp arenas than they are in pve missions (no offense to any elementalists out there.) Then I started my pve mesmer and found out PvP was more fun since mesmers are worse (in my opinion) in pve than in pvp. Well.. Then I started my warrior, and found out that farming is kind of fun (just started farming spider in fissure a week ago.. Hurray for pointless obsidian rocks!) And I'm now also playing a monk and am going to try to make up a new build that can solo Hell's Precipice or whatever that place is! I know it can be done!

But I still do PvP when we don't have favor.. Otherwise there is nothing to do but talk to strangers.

By the way, I deleted my mesmer so I could have a spot for my monk and still have a slot for a pvp character.. Can't wait for chapter 2 so I will have more space for characters!

This game was designed around PvP. Period. Fortunately, the PvE part is quite good also and I find it rather fun, so I do both.

I think most of the PvE players aren't necessarily 13 (though I think the majority are in their teens), but that they'd rather be playing WoW if it were free.

If you're *only* into PvE, I think you're probably playing the wrong game.

I would have to disagree with that... The game is great in both aspects... I haev no plans to ever PVP. I will buy Chap 2 and enjoy all the PVE in it as well...
